Born in the Dominican Republic, Gus draws on his experiences in the U.S. and other countries to offer a diverse menu featuring dishes like fresh plantains, yaka cassava, and tamarind, each with a rich historical and cultural background. He aims to connect with people and build community in Lake Charles by exposing his culture and creating a welcoming “vibe” through his food and interactions.
