Meet Chef Jacob Gillett, an accomplished culinary expert. Jacob has been in the Culinary arts for almost two decades. He served as a Chef at Mazen’s, where he quickly earned the esteemed title of Executive Chef, which he held for five of the eight years he served there. Jacob’s passion for cooking and culinary excellence lead him to venture out and create his own business, Bella Bocaj Catering, which has been part of the SWLA gourmet community for the last ten years.
Not only is Jacob a food whiz, he also has a heart for sharing his passion with the local youth. Jacob is the chef instructor for Sulphur High-school’s ProStart program. He is about to embark on his sixth year of cultivating and nurturing the next generation of aspiring chefs. If you have not had the pleasure to experience Jacob’s culinary works, you just might be in luck! Bella Bocaj Catering has partnered with Southlake Theater, a one of a kind venue, where he will be providing catering services for all of the community to enjoy.
