Executive Chef Nick Kent’s culinary journey began at an early age in his family’s restaurant in St. Francisville. This early exposure cultivated a deep passion for the culinary arts, which he further developed by participating in and winning various culinary competitions throughout Louisiana. Over the past five years, Chef Nick has progressed from his role as Sous Chef at Restaurant 1796 to his current position as Executive Chef at Blue House Hospitality’s latest venture, “Big River Pizza Co.” While he continues to grow and learn within the regional culinary scene, Chef Nick remains committed to delivering high-quality, innovative dishes that reflect his dedication to the craft.
